Payments & Dues

Your dues help provide the life blood to the financial engine that continues to drive the substantial community, youth services, and social programming of the Gary (IN) Alumni Chapter. The fraternal year starts October 1st and ends September 30th the following year.

Your fraternity dues are cover 3 financial levels for a one (1) fraternal year:

  • Grand Chapter
  • Provincial
  • Local Chapter

2024-2025 Gary Alumni Chapter Dues – $416 (includes Province dues + Henry E. Bennett Foundation collection)

Grand Chapter Membership Dues (excluding Life Members) – $200

Grand Chapter Dues cover the cost of running the operations of IHQ, publication of the Kappa Alpha Psi Journals and the Confidential Bulletins.

We are asking that you remit your Grand Chapter dues directly to Grand Chapter. In order to be considered financial with Gary Alumni we ask that you provide proof of payment to Grand Chapter. If you are a Life member, we do not need to resubmit proof of Grand Chapter dues.

Inactive Member Dues (Excluding Life Members)
If a member has been financially inactive, they may reclaim your membership in good standing status by bringing your Grand Chapter financial dues up-to-date as follows:

Pay annual dues of $200.00 plus applicable reactivation fee.

  • If inactive for 1-3 years, reactivation fee is $5.00
  • If inactive for 4 or more years, reactivation fee is $10.00
  • If you haven’t paid your one time housing assessment fee of $100.00, that is also due.

 

Direct Payments

All payments can also be hand delivered to James Harris, KOE at State Farm at 3685 Grant St, Gary, IN 46408 or mailed directly to the Gary Alumni Chapter to P.O. Box 64463, Gary, IN 46401 (Attn: KOE). Direct payments must be made via a check or money order, made payable to ‘KAPPA ALPHA PSI’. Indicate Membership Number (not Life Membership Number) and payment purpose on check memo line.

Online payments are welcomed and encouraged!!! Payments are accepted and securely processed via Zelle or Paypal to garykappas@gmail.com. A nominal service fee will apply for this convenience.
